Fusilli with Pesto Sauce
Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

250 grams of fusilli pasta (spiral pasta)

2 tablespoons of olive oil

2 garlic cloves
-
3–4 tablespoons of pesto sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Salt

Black pepper
-
Grated Parmesan cheese for topping (optional)
Preparation
Boil water in a deep pot. Add a pinch of salt and cook the fusilli pasta according to the instructions on the package. Then drain the pasta and set it aside.
In a separate pan, heat the olive oil. Lightly sauté the finely chopped garlic, being careful not to burn it.
Once the garlic is sautéed, add the pesto sauce to the pan. Stir and heat it for a few seconds.
Add the boiled pasta to the pan and mix well with the pesto sauce. If needed, add 1–2 tablespoons of the pasta cooking water to loosen the mixture.
Finally, season with salt and black pepper. Remove from heat.
After transferring to the serving plate, you can optionally sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
