Baked Pasta with Cheese
Ingredients:

300 grams of baked pasta (fusilli or thick spaghetti also work)

2 tablespoons of butter

2 tablespoons of flour

2.5 cups of milk
-
1 cup of grated mozzarella or cheddar cheese
-
1/2 cup of white cheese (optional)

Salt, black pepper
-
Extra grated cheese for topping
Instructions:
Boil the pasta in salted water according to the instructions on the package, then drain.
In a separate saucepan, melt the butter. Add the flour and cook for 1–2 minutes until it loses its raw smell.
Slowly add the milk while whisking continuously. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent lumps, until the sauce thickens.
Once thickened, add salt and black pepper. Remove from heat and stir in the grated cheese and white cheese.
Mix the cooked pasta with the prepared cheese sauce.
Transfer to a greased baking dish and sprinkle with extra grated cheese on top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20–25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Let it rest for 5 minutes after removing from the oven, then slice and serve.
